Office Depot’s Patricia Morrison, Chief Information Officer Joins Enterprise Development Corporation Board of Directors

Delray Beach, FL – September 16, 2002 - The Enterprise Development Corporation (EDC), a public/private partnership specializing in providing strategic business development services to emerging science and technology companies, announced today that Patricia Morrison, Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer from Office Depot has joined its Board of Directors.

Commenting on her new appointment Ms. Morrison said, “I’m thrilled to join EDC’s Board of Directors. Office Depot shares EDC’s commitment to providing knowledge and support to small businesses in South Florida. Patricia Morrison joined Office Depot in 2001. Before joining Office Depot, Morrison was Chief Information Officer for Quaker Oats Company and prior to that she was Chief Information Officer for General Electric Company’s $6 billion subsidiary, GE Industrial Systems. Ms. Morrison, age 43, is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio.
