Compuquip Technologies Expands Internet Security Team

MIAMI, Dec. 18, 2002 – Compuquip Technologies Inc. today announced it has expanded its Internet Security Division with the additions of David Rosenwald, security technology solutions specialist; Jerry Mitchell, senior security engineer; and Steve May, senior security engineer – practices coordinator.

Rosenwald previously spent five years as an account manager with Entre Computers. He earned a degree in audio engineering from the School of Audio Engineering in London.

Mitchell, who is based in Compuquip’s Tampa office, was most recently a network security engineer with the Sysinct division of IKON Office Solutions. Before this, he was a network security engineer with Esävio, a systems integrator. Mitchell is certified in operating systems as an MCSE and CNA and also has extensive experience in Checkpoint and Nokia products having earned certification as a Checkpoint engineer.

Prior to joining Compuquip, May was managing engineer with StrataSys Group, where he developed and managed the company’s Security and Internetworking Practice. Before this, he was a support services engineer with PC DOCS/Fulcrum in Tallahassee, Fla. May earned a bachelor’s degree in management information systems from Florida State University and has extensive experience and certifications in the internetworking and security areas. He possesses both the CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional and CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) designations.
