Kurt D. Strominger joins the TBG Reliance Team

The TBG Reliance Corporation today announced that Kurt D. Strominger joined the firm, January 2, 2003, as the National Accounts Manager. The WATCH system is an Internet-based application for service management, primarily for ATM and Petroleum Equipment manufacturers, distributors, service providers and service customers.

Mr. Strominger will be responsible for developing marketing and sales plans and assisting the company president in WATCH product sales. He will be developing a sales staff and provide communication with potential WATCH customers.

Mr. Strominger comes to Reliance from the Connecticut-based United Technologies Corporation (UTC) where he was the Manager of Educational Technology. He is credited with the development of the Corporation’s Learning Portal, which serves as the company’s Inter/Intranet-based enterprise application that is used to manage the extensive volume of training data and training activity. Kurt is also credited with establishing UTC’s first electronic Learning Community that facilitates knowledge transfer via an interactive, collaborative environment.

Prior to joining UTC, Mr. Strominger was a senior computing engineer with UTC’s Pratt & Whiney division where he was responsible for designing and implementing software configuration management systems, developing aero-thermal computer simulations of military jet engines and developing graphical user interfaces and simulation models to reduce real-time engine test data.

Mr. Strominger has a Master’s degree in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from Florida Atlantic University. Mr. Strominger currently resides in Ozona, Florida where the Reliance Corporate offices are located.
