Dr. Elliot Hahn to Speak at Regional Conference Thursday, March 13, 2003
Boca Raton, FL – January 30, 2003 – The Enterprise Development Corporation (EDC), a public/private partnership specializing in providing strategic business development services to emerging, science and technology based companies and Florida Atlantic University (FAU) today announced that Dr. Elliot Hahn, Chairman of the Board & President of Davie-based Andrx Corporation (Nasdaq:ADRX) will deliver the keynote address at the 2nd annual Biotech conference. BioTech 2003 is an all-day event that will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2003 at FAU’s Boca Raton campus. The goal of the conference is to foster collaboration between industry and academia in South Florida, ensuring the growth of this viable industry in our region.
The theme of this year’s conference is “The Future of Bioscience in South Florida”, and Dr Hahn will share his experience at Andrx, one of the industry’s most successful and innovative specialty pharmaceutical companies. The conference will also feature poster presentations in conjunction with corporate and university seminars and sponsor exhibits.

BioTech 2003 is jointly sponsored by local industry and academia to showcase research and development activities in South Florida.
