Clearwater, Fla. / February 17, 2003: Applied Media Technologies Corporation (AMTC) has been awarded a contract to provide telephone “on hold” technology to the U.S. operations of Finland’s KONE Corporation, one of the leading companies in the global elevator and escalator business. KONE selected iQueue™ player equipment, which employs a removable memory card to store the music and message content. AMTC will also provide studio production services to KONE.

“We were ready to sign a contract with a small message on hold vendor when the AMTC sales rep called. We were sure that a company of AMTC's size would not be competitive with a small local vendor, but the sales rep promised us it was worth looking at a competitive bid. The savings was significant, and we like dealing directly with the manufacturer,” said Linda Gieseman, KONE’s Sales & Marketing Coordinator.
