Ganache Chocolates Presents Delectable Couture Chocolates on New Web Site

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Feb. 24, 2003) – At Ganache Chocolates, there are no mass assembly lines - only artisans at work. Located in Southwest Florida, Ganache Chocolates creates fine handmade chocolates in a variety of delectable flavors. Ganache now features a new Web site where visitors can get a virtual taste of these morsels of art.
Developed by Fort Myers, Fla., based Dickinson & Associates, ganachechocolate.com is the result of the collective efforts of a variety of individuals.
“Each piece of chocolate from Ganache Chocolates is a work of art,” explains Sal Dickinson, chief executive of Dickinson & Associates. “Given its stunning visual appeal, we set out to design a site that would convey this to the visitor. Simply put, the chocolate is our star.”
Dickinson & Associates drew upon a variety of resources to make this chocolate star shine. New York based food and chocolate photographer John Uher created stunning images that make the mouth water. Copywriter Gayle Guynup captures the flavor of the chocolate in words. Meanwhile, graphic artist Matt Connar brought Uher’s and Guynup’s art together on a virtual canvas. The final result is a Web site that tempts the taste buds.
Developed with an Accrisoft software platform, the site design allows the client to update and change content on their own and in real time, without the need to learn Web programming languages or hire additional personnel. Under the site optimization direction of Alan Kohler, the site is already ranking near or at the top of popular search engines.
Ganache Chocolates are created using only the finest chocolates, butter, spices, nuts, purées and flavors. Ganache, selected as one of the top 10 artisan chocolate companies in the country by USA Today, is a collaboration between Norman Love and Judy Limekiller. A former executive pastry chef for The Ritz Carlton Hotels, Love is recognized as one of the finest pastry chefs and chocolate makers by a number of national gourmet media outlets. Judy Limekiller, a graduate of Peter Kumps’ Culinary School in New York City, began her career at the famed Gramercy Tavern. Ganache produces thousands of handmade pieces of chocolate each week for customers, hotels and resorts, restaurants, catering companies and individual clients interested in tasting and serving fine chocolates.
