MoriahCom releases PDA add-on for Intuit Master Builder

February 24, 2003 – MoriahCom today announced the release of JobSite, part of the Wireless Data System Suite of products. WDS JobSite is a handheld PDA module for Intuit Master Builder Daily Field Reports or Payroll. This module allows for data capture of employee time, equipment and subcontractor information while in the field and can be synchronized to the Master Builder database via dial-up, wireless or the PDA cradle. This allows project managers to schedule jobs in a timely fashion, reduce employee down time in the field and eliminate duplicate data entry.

“We are very excited to offer the first PDA solution for Master Builder with a synchronization server built for Intuit’s products,” said Chris Guardado, owner of MoriahCom. “Every kilobyte sent wirelessly costs our customers money and employee time. We have optimized our server to check for changes in Master Builder and only send the necessary data to the PDA. With a sync time starting at nine seconds, this significantly lowers our customers’ overall cost.”

MoriahCom plans to release a version of WDS JobSite for QuickBooks at the beginning of the second quarter 2003. They will also be announcing the release of two other products in the WDS Suite. The first is TruckPath, a stand-alone or integrated solution for Master Builder that tracks multiple vehicles using GPS and Microsoft Mappoint that can be viewed on a desktop computer. The second is a PDA Service Receivables module for Intuit Master Builder. This solution will offer invoicing, perpetual inventory for vehicles, wireless credit card processing, job history inquery while in the field and synchronization back to the Master Builder database.

With WDS JobSite, job superintendents can enter employee time, equipment and subcontractor information on-site. By giving your team access to real-time information, you can expect to:
