352 Media Group Wins Big at Local Ad Competition

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (Feb. 27, 2003) – 352 Media Group, an interactive media and marketing firm, took center stage at the ADDYS competition on Feb. 21, 2003, winning three gold and two silver ADDY awards for Web sites and marketing tools.

The company was a finalist in two out of three “Best of Show” categories.

“It was an honor to be recognized by the Gainesville Advertising Federation,” said Peter VanRysdam, vice president of sales and marketing for 352 Media Group. “This award really speaks to the hard work and dedication of our project managers and the creative vision of our designers, programmers and marketers.”

The Shands Safe Kids Web site, www.shandssafekids.org, won a Silver ADDY for the Public Service-Broadcast/Electronic Media category and was a runner-up in the “Best in Public Service” competition.

A virtual exhibit of St. Augustine created for the Florida Museum of Natural History earned a Gold ADDY and was nominated for the “Best of Show in Electronic Media” honor.

New York Cargo’s Web site, www.leatherjackets.com, earned a Gold ADDY in the Interactive Media-Consumer Web site category.

Several of 352 Media Group’s own marketing materials received honors in the self-promotion division. The company’s interactive sales kit earned a Gold ADDY, and its Web site, www.352media.com, won a Silver ADDY in the Interactive Media category.

It was the first time 352 Media Group had entered the competition. All of the company’s winning entries will move on to the regional competition to be held in April.

The ADDYS, which are awarded by the National Advertising Federation and sponsored locally by the Gainesville Advertising Federation, honor the best in innovative advertising. Winners at the local level will be forwarded to the district competition held in April, and district winners will be forwarded to the national competition held in June.
