Applied Media Technologies Selected For Lufthansa Reservations Centers

Clearwater, Fla. / March 10, 2003: Lufthansa German Airlines, a subsidiary of Deutsche Lufthansa AG (LHA, 823212, XET), has selected Applied Media Technologies Corporation (AMTC) to provide telephone “on hold” messaging for its U.S. reservation centers. Based in Frankfurt/Main, Germany, Lufthansa is one of the world’s largest airlines and the number two carrier globally in international scheduled services. AMTC is replacing a competing message on hold vendor.

Sonia Anuth, Marketing Manager North America for Lufthansa, said “Our reservations centers handle many thousands of calls each day. It’s imperative that we have something playing ‘on hold’ to prevent call abandonment. We trust AMTC to provide reliable, professional service.”
