DataCore Receives Two Honors from the Florida Technical Communications Competition

SANsymphony Documentation Wins Award of Merit

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. (March 20, 2003) - DataCore Software, a leading provider of enterprise-class, open storage networking software, has added two more awards to its growing list of industry honors and achievements. The company received an Award of Merit for its SANsymphony(tm) software 5.0 QuickStart and an Honorable Mention for its SANsymphony 5.0 Administration Guide at the Florida Technical Communications Competition (FTCC).

The 2002-2003 FTCC committee judged 28 entries this year, including online help, reference manuals, books, newsletters and more. Each entry was evaluated by a team of three judges using guidelines provided by the Society for Technical Communication's international competitions. Printed publication entries were judged on four factors - writing, graphics, copyediting, and overall integration - based on the purpose, content, and organization of the document. Entries were judged on their own merits, not against each other and were eligible to win an award in one of three categories: Merit, Excellence, or Distinguished Technical Communication.
