Transitions Optical implements Version 2.0 of DT-Folio

Spring Hill, FL. July 15, 2005. Datrys Technologies announces that its major customer, Transitions Optical, has just implemented version 2.0 of its flagship product -- DT-Folio.

DT-Folio is a state-of-the-art .NET technology-based Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. It was first released in October 6, 2003 as the first ground up DAM solution designed in Microsoft’s .NET.

Transitions Optical, Inc. based in Pinellas Park, Florida, is the world leader in the manufacture of photochromic lenses. “Transitions was Datrys’ first DT-Folio customer and has been a driving force in the development of Version 2.0,” states Stephen Valiquette, CEO of Datrys Technologies.

The system is designed for use by corporate marketing departments to manage their marketing and advertising images, documents and other digital assets. Version 2.0 is a stunning and major overhaul of the initial release, adding significant feature enhancements and increased ease-of-use.
