Boca Raton, FL…Karen Fredricks of Tech Benders is pleased to announce that she has completed ACT! 2007 for Dummies, which will appear in bookstores in September 2006. The book is part of Wiley Publishing’s “Dummies” series of books. Fredrick is part of an elite group of authors who have been invited to write books with “must have” content to targeted audiences. Authors of the highly successful Dummies series are generally nationally well-known and well-respected specialists. Her first book, ACT! 6 for Dummies, sold 40,000 in the first nine months and went into a second printing.

According to Fredricks, “Writing this book posed a variety of challenges. The content had to be highly focused and triple checked for items such as grammar, accuracy, explanation of acronyms, and ease of use by the reader. In addition, the presentation had to include enough humor to provide an enjoyable reading experience while providing instruction regarding the use of highly technical content.”

Fredricks has over 20 years of computer consulting and training experience in South Florida, during which time she has acquired in-depth expertise in the operational requirements of a broad spectrum of businesses. An ACT! Certified Consultant and an ACT! Premier Trainer, Fredricks has been repeatedly asked by Sage Software to help in a variety of educational events for other consultants over the last five years.

Tech Benders provides a variety of services to businesses of all types and sizes, including needs analyses to determine hardware and software requirements, installation of selected software packages, troubleshooting, software customization, and training. Fredricks established Tech Benders because she believes that computer training alone does not meet the needs of many companies.
